Cable Transit for Toronto?

Happy 2010! It's been a while since I posted here, but I just had to mention The Gondola Project, a great website and a fabulous concept championed by urban planner Steven Dale. The Toronto Star recently ran a story about his idea for a cable transit system in the Don Valley or the Humber.

Cable transit is used routinely in Europe and South America, as Dale documents on his site. It's relatively inexpensive, has a very small envorinmental footprint, and is very fun. But have a look at Dale's site and see what you think! Let's get Toronto to put the FUN in FUNicular!

Hey cuz! Love the site - it popped up while doing research for my own little web ventures.

In other Toronto news, check out my blog, The Hanlan's Point Project, as I document my attempts at local self-publishing.

Hi Sarah, I'm a communications and PR student in Toronto. I found the Cadmus Communications website through a Google search for cross-cultural PR companies. Can you point me in the direction of Toronto-area companies who specialize in cross-cultural communications?

You know, I don't really think there are any other specifically cross-cultural communications companies in Toronto. I was about 15 years ahead of the curve in 1993 when I started my company, and I haven't really seen anyone else take on the same focus.
