Christmas Nativity Scene

For those of you (hundreds of you !) who have come to my site since hearing me on CBC this morning, I should point out that the only Christmas display mentioned this morning but not explicitly listed among the older messages below is the life-size Nativity scene at St.Francis of Assisi Church on Grace at Mansfield (just south of College). It's pretty wonderful and reminds me pleasantly of the creches we used to visit when I was a child in Montreal. This might make a good stop on a west-end tour that also included the houses on Brock and Clinton, and there are lots of pretty though more modest displays all over that area.

Enjoy the season!

Have you seen the beautiful life-sized tiger light display on Bloor Street at the Christie subway station? It is well worth a visit!
